Even in the internal space of her studio, Rosalind Lawless believes that everything you work with is related to the room in which you are. It is exactly this belief that she brings to her work. Within the work colours are continually overlaid, constructed with paint and print. Lawless uses different kinds of material: charcoal, graphite, drawings and photographs, to physically construct space within the composition of her work.
