Amy Marshall

Amy Marshall graduated from the University of Edinburgh with an MA in Fine Art in 2003. Following her degree show she won the Catriona White Drawing Prize which allowed her to exhibit at Edinburgh College of Art in 2004, with a series of drawings from her Bolivian climbing expedition. An accomplished mountaineer, Marshall has spent many weeks mountaineering in the Alps, and has ascended Mont Blanc and Dent Blanche. She has climbed in the Bolivian Andes, ascending three peaks over six thousand meters with a team from the University of Bristol Mountaineering Club and in the Tien Shan range in Kyrgyzstan, Central Asia. In June 2005, Marshall plans to climb the Pamirs Mountains in Tajikistan.
